Shiping policy

Shipping Policy for a Shopify ecommerce store. The policy should be clear, easy to understand, and written in a trustworthy tone. Include the following sections:

  • Order Processing: Orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation, excluding weekends and holidays.
  • Shipping Time: Standard delivery takes approximately 5–10 business days, depending on the customer’s location.
  • Shipping Costs: Clearly explain that shipping charges are calculated at checkout or offer free shipping on eligible orders (include placeholders if needed).
  • Order Tracking: Customers receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number once their order has been dispatched.
  • Delivery Delays: Explain that delivery times are estimates and may be affected by weather, holidays, customs, or carrier delays.
  • Incorrect Address: State that customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address and that the store is not responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect information.
  • Lost or Damaged Packages: Explain that customers should contact support if their package is lost or arrives damaged, and include the timeframe for reporting issues.
  • International Shipping: Include a section stating whether international shipping is available and note that customs duties, taxes, and import fees are the customer’s responsibility.
  • Cash on Delivery (COD): If available, explain that payment is collected at delivery and that COD is only available in eligible locations.
  • Contact Information: Include placeholders for the store name, support email, phone number, and business address.
  • Format the policy with clear headings, short paragraphs, and professional language suitable for a Shopify store.
